Emmanuel Friends Church of Fargo, North Dakota

The Lord is moving in our midst. In Fargo North Dakota another seed has taken root from the work of EFC and Pastor Phillip Rana, in the Nepal Refugee Camp, among the refugees awaiting immigration to the United States. Pastor Samjana Moktan and Elder Khem Ghalley lead Emmanuel Friends Church of Fargo North Dakota. Pastor Stephon Moktan, Pastor Samjana’s husband is still waiting in-processing with his immigration papers from the Refugee Camp in Nepal. He will be joining them when he gets to the United States.

The church began as a home ministry in 2015 and has continued to grow despite the pandemic. They expanded to a space in the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Fargo where they currently meet.
